Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the western in a fantastic game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, not like most other poker games that players wager against other players. By betting against the dealer, new players do not have to fret about other, more skillful players taking their mulla.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively slow game play, beginners can take their time and strategize without needing to make frenzied selections.

It’s also much simpler to wager on for a long time with just a tiny amount of money after all, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier is given seven cards face down.

One five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
