Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the western in an awesome game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the casino, not like almost all other poker games that players bet with other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, new players do not need to worry about other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, rookies should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make frenzied selections.

It’s also easier to participate in for a long time with only a little bit of money after all, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the house is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
